2010 AUSTRALIAN METAL AWARDS

The first meetings for the 2010 Australian Metal Awards are now underway. 2009 was a steep learning curve but with a lot of support being offered for 2010 by key figures within the industry as well as members of the general public, this year will be bigger and better.

The organisers of the 2009 Australian Metal Awards (Matt Willis and Natalie Meisenhelter) have stated "The 2009 Australian Metal Awards took a lot out of us but it was a great experience. We had some time after the dust had settled from the 2009 show to talk about the future of the AMA's and we realised that our passion for this genre of music and the bands here in Australia had not diminished but had actually grown stronger. While we do have to sacrifice a lot to make this happen we know that there are a lot of extremely talented and hardworking bands here that truely deserve our support and thats why we will continue."

Details of the 2010 Australian Metal Awards will be announced over the coming months.
